So I had already said something similar to this on Tumblr at like three in the morning, but my mind keeps going back to it. The parents to the 2k12 Casey Jones are Kevin Barr and Eddward "Double D" Vincent from Ed, Edd 'n' Eddy. Now before you say anything, hear me out.
Suppose the KevEdd became canon. And once they were adults, they decided to get married. But since neither of them could decide on a last name, they changed both to Jones. By that time, they moved to New York, found a surrogate mother, and had Casey.
